about

This album presents 6 pieces recorded for Solo Tenor Saxophone with live sound treatment using the following 4 pedals effects.

• Drolo "Molecular Disruptor"
• Dr Scientist "Bitquest"
• Boss Digital Reverb/Delay "RV-3"
• Electro-Harmonix "720 Stereo Lopper"

The music performed and mixed live - no postproduction other than mastering - was recorded over an afternoon in the beautiful setting of the CARA Studios, in Matosinhos, Portugal, on July 7, 2019

Each piece focuses on a simple idea. It is then developed using the rich tonal and textural potential offered by the 4 pedals used.
The music threads a narrative which verges on a number of musical esthetics, with the guiding idea being an evocative meditative journey.
